In the spirit of Data's posts, and attempting to put the lie to my superstition about posting plays, here is the start of a thread that will track my system-generated picks for a while.

Day 1:

Aarau pk @ 1.74 over Thun in the Swiss Super League

No surprise there - based on present form and results, this doesn't seem like a smart pick.

However, I am looking for Aarau to bounce back after their wipe-out against Basel in Round 1. Also, since they played 60 minutes with 10 men, I think the 6-0 was inflated.

By the same reasoning, Thun scored all 3 of their goals in their win against Servette after Servette were down to 10 men. In addition, Thun may suffer a let-down after crashing out of the Intertoto Cup on Saturday.

Having said all that, it's still a system play.
